Plaud's own comparison documentation says both models share the same 51 × 21 × 11 mm dimensions, BLE 5.2 transfer, 20-hour continuous-recording rating and 40-day standby rating. The practical difference is control: NotePin S adds a physical record button and on-device highlighting.

What the Plaud ecosystem does

Recordings are managed through Plaud's app/web ecosystem, where supported AI features can turn conversations into transcripts, summaries and shareable outputs. Plaud currently advertises transcription in 112 languages, speaker labels, custom vocabulary, mind maps and workflow integrations. The Starter plan listed on Plaud's German product page includes 300 transcription minutes per month, with paid plans available for higher limits and additional features.
